With his humble personality and 16 years of culinary experience in kitchens of Michelin-starred restaurants worldwide, 34 year old Chef Frank Kilian is a rising star of the Singapore dining world. With experience in acclaimed restaurants in Germany, the UK and Australia, it was at London’s award-winning Michelin-star restaurant Zafferano where his passion for all things Italian was ignited. After relocating to Sydney, Chef Kilian worked as senior sous chef at the three hat Pier Restaurant where he defined his personal cooking style: food made simple with fresh and top quality ingredients. With a refreshingly creative take on Italian cuisine, Chef Kilian now helms the kitchen at Pontini, bringing a timeless menu where simple, wholesome flavours and seasonal products are reflected throughout.
