With his humble personality and 16 years of culinary experience in kitchens of Michelin-starred restaurants worldwide, 34-year-old Chef Frank Kilian is a rising star of the Singapore dining world. With experience in acclaimed restaurants in Germany, the UK and Australia, it was at London’s award-winning Michelin-star restaurant Zafferano where his passion for all things Italian was ignited. After relocating to Sydney, Chef Kilian worked as senior sous chef at the three-hat Pier Restaurant where he defined his personal cooking style: food made simple with fresh and top quality ingredients. With a refreshingly creative take on Italian cuisine, Chef Kilian now helms the kitchen at Pontini, bringing a timeless menu where simple, wholesome flavours and seasonal products are reflected throughout.
