When Chung Lap Fai sees customers returning for his dishes, he feels that all his hard work is worth the effort. Spurred by his love of food, he started his culinary career as an apprentice chef at the age of seventeen. In 1991 Chef Chung Lap Fai arrived in Singapore, working in several other top Chinese restaurants before joining the Orchard Hotel in 1995. His passion and hard work saw him rising the ranks and today he heads the team at Hua Ting where he pleases diners with his Cantonese specialties.
