Chef-Owner Masayasu Yonemura of Kyoto’s most respected in-vogue restaurant is a masterful storyteller. His sequences of creative French dishes with Japanese touches tell a culinary tale which unfolds course by course. Inspired by the sights, sounds and tastes of his surroundings, Yonemura’s cuisine takes the diner through a culinary story-telling experience.
With innovative cooking methods, Yonemura’s signature style is distinctly unconventional. His cuisine is inspired by the time of year, using locally available seasonal ingredients to create an experience which echoes each of the seasons.
