This highly skilled chef is not only a master of Cantonese cuisine, but is well versed in Chinese history; driven by a desire to constantly improve his skills and knowledge. As the head of Shang Palace, Chef Tsang brings over 30 years of culinary experience. Some of his career highlights have included cooking for Chief Executive Tung Chee Hwa, Nelson Mandela and Li Peng and receiving the highly prestigious “Golden Honorary Award” at the Singapore Gourmet Hunt 1998. While serving up his Cantonese dishes and reinvented classics, he is constantly interacting with guests to gather feedback and continually improve.
