The wines of Clos Mogador Winery in Spain’s Priorat region are said to have reached the cult status of "un Grande Vino" on the international stage. Winemaker René Barbier, one of the founding fathers of the ‘rediscovery’ of the Priorat region, presses his grapes with an olive press in order to extract a more concentrated juice, increasing the already high concentration of Priorat wines. Nestled in the Priorat hills, Clos Mogador produces vintage after vintage acclaimed by the wine trade and enthusiasts alike, including a white wine called ‘Clos Nelin’ that will be presented at this year’s World Gourmet Summit. |
