A winery with a long and colourful history, Chateau Léoville-Poyferré was part of a larger estate until the French revolution. After numerous changes over the centuries, it was taken over by Didier Cuvelier in 1978 and remains so today. The estate produces
20 000 cases per annum of its grand vin, Chateau Léoville-Poyferré, which is known for its dramatic improvement in the last 20 years. It also produces its second wine, Chateau Moulin Riche and a wine, Pavillon des Connetables. |
