Marco Pallanti
Born in Florence, vintner Marco Pallanti was educated at the University of Florence with a degree in viticulture and enology. He completed various training courses in prestigeous universities such as Bordeaux, Montpellier, Nantes and Suze la Rousse. Since 1982 he has run the Castello di Ama estate, producing wines said to be the true espression of Chianti Classico. “At Castello di Ama, we have ‘vineyards without reserve’” states Pallanti, “therefore, in promoting quality, innovation, and continuity, we intend to do what seems just: leave a marker for those who will come after us, who love the winegrower’s art and the Chianti it brings forth.”
