From 20 to 24 April 2009, in conjunction with World Gourmet Summit, InterContinental Singapore presents two acclaimed master mixologists at the Lobby Lounge and Victoria Bar. Join us to discover a range of cocktails bringing you on a journey around the world.

MONDAY 20 April – East meets West
Join Master Mixologists Linden Pride and Eben Freeman as they take guests on a historical journey through pre-prohibition cocktails from the 1880's-1930's. Featured drinks will include hidden classics like the Ward 8 and the Martinez, plus numerous modern takes on old recipes. Chefs of InterContinental Singapore present dim sum and xiao chi (small bites, or Chinese tapas) from Man Fu Yuan Chinese Restaurant and playful izakaya-inspired bar bites from KŌ Japanese Restaurant.

Priced at $48.00++ per person, from 6.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. at the Lobby Lounge. Entertainment will be provided by top notch DJs.

TUESDAY 21 APRIL - A (Very Fine) Girl’s Night Out
Linden and Eben take over Victoria Bar, focusing on innovative techniques, sensuous textures, artisanal vodka and white rum-based drinks, and the flavours of the tropics and the Mediterranean - all presented with a feminine touch. Highlights include vodka lollipops, seasonal martini jellies, dessert tipples like 'rum and raisin' rum and a selection of riffs on the Parisian classic, The White Lady. House canapés will bear the influences of European brasserie fare, while the house DJ sets an unforgettable mood.

WEDNESDAY 22 APRIL - VIP Freestyle with Linden and Eben
From 6 p.m. to 7.30 p.m., Linden Pride and Eben Freeman host an intimate gathering of pre-dinner cocktails prior to dinner in the Grand Ballroom, featuring celebrity chef David Rocco of the popular food television series, Dolce Vita on Discovery Travel & Living. Participants of the dinner will be served by the two Master Mixologists for the evening.

THURSDAY 23 APRIL - A (Distinguished) Gentleman’s Lounge
Victoria Bar is once again the scene for a perfect evening. Linden and Eben hone in on cocktails with a distinctly masculine persona and classic spirits like bourbon, scotch, whiskey, rye, and cognac. Venerable classics like Whisky Sour are given plush VIP status - served up with a velvety white froth - and served along post-modern infusions like Smoked Coke and Bourbon.

FRIDAY 24 APRIL - The Original Jet-Set
With inspiration taken from the 'Latin Riviera' and beach-side hot spots like Havana, Rio de Janeiro and Punta del Este, this Friday night send-off party turns out flavors and music that harkens back to the golden age of jet travel. Among the many classics, Linden and Eben present Mojitoes in many forms, fresh daiquiris from the original La Floridita recipe, sexy Southeast Asian riffs on the caipirinha, refreshing tequila spritzers such as El Diablo, and old-school Cuban originals like The Periodista. Cuban-born artist DJ Greco hosts Salsa Revolution - from the hottest night at BED Supper Club in Bangkok, Thailand - for the first time in Singapore! Executive Chef Lucas Spoel presents a spread of chile and lime-laced ceviches, spice-rubbed grilled meats, banana leaf-wrapped seafood, and a spicy 'mojo' dipping bar, along with house made popcorn and dulce de leche desserts.
