Having won numerous accolades for his culinary abilities and cookbooks, Chef Heinz Beck is arguably Italy’s most famous chef. Ironically, Beck was born in Germany in 1963 and his restaurant, La Pergola, is housed in an American hotel, the Cavalieri Hilton.
A three-Michelin-starred chef, Heinz specialises in Mediterranean cuisine and regularly creates new dishes to add to his already extensive menu. His inspiration: anything and everything – from museum paintings to Italy’s mountains.
