Chef and partner of Singapore’s latest Italian restaurant, Oso Ristorante; Diego Chiarini has been working in Asia since 1996. Fluent in three languages, French, Italian and English, Chiarini has been internationally recognised for his unique style of cuisine on numerous occasions. A self-proclaimed perfectionist, Chiarini insist on hand-picking the finest ingredients used in the restaurant, many of which are sourced directly from Italy through his personal contacts and associates.
Prior to working in Asia, Chiarini has worked in renowned establishments such as Bice, in the Tokyo Four Seasons Hotel, Four Seasons Hotel in Milan, Royal Monceau Hotel in Paris and Hotel de Paris in Monaco. There in Hotel de Paris, Chiarini worked alongside Alain Ducasse, whom he cites as one of his leading influences.
