MICHAEL GREMMER
HOSTING CHEF
Chef Michael Gremer joined The Fullerton Hotel Singapore and The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore as
Executive Chef in October 2017. Taking on the management and inner workings of nine food and beverage
establishments was a task Chef Gremer took to with ease. Just prior to his uprooting in Singapore, he had
spent many accomplished years in Malaysia, first as Director of Kitchens at The Westin Kuala Lumpur, then
as Executive Chef of Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur, where he oversaw 12 dining venues and 169 kitchen
associates. Chef Gremer’s versatility in the culinary arts is gleaned from a worldwide career that has spanned
over 20 years in Asia. He has his finger on the pulse of the ever-changing cultural diversity and is acutely
attuned to the local palate. He has had the privilege of working with many acclaimed Michelin-starred chefs
such as Alfredo Russo throughout his time in the culinary circuit, and is no stranger to elaborate culinary
events whether they be important delegations or large scale conferences such as the World Economic Forum
in ASEAN 2016 or KL City’s Grand Prix 2015. He has attended to prominent world leaders and international
artistes with poise and assured composure.
