Chef Thomas Bühner, the man who followed his mind instead of the heart. When others have begun the career with a passion for it, Chef Bühner took up the challenge only because an aptitude test at a local job centre in Riesenbeck (North Rhine-Westphalia) showed that he was suited to become a cook, baker, or farmer. Amongst the choices, Chef Bühner chose to be a cook and with that choice, he was determined to be the top with that choice and it is still his aspiration to be one. Chef Bühner began his training at Schweizer Haus in Paderborn and has since worked in many other restaurants, claiming his first Michelin-star at La Table Restraurant. With three-Michelin-star to his name, Chef Bühner has also received the accolade of becoming a Relais & Chateaux “Grand Chef”. Relish his three starred dishes in this rare occasion.
