Kunihiro was founded in 1957 in the Hiroshima prefecture to produce and sell oysters around Hiroshima, Seto Inland area. The locals in Hiroshima have been enjoying the taste of fresh oysters from ancient time, and Kunihiro is the first company to expand the sales of fresh oysters sales to whole Japan. Today, Kunihiro is fast expanding across Asia, Australia and the United States. Kunihiro's oysters undergo stringent inspection, washing and ultra-violet disinfection process.
