Since its founding in 1988, ENOTECA CO., LTD. has been committed to its mission of being “For All Wine Lovers” and has grown as a wine merchant that serves the needs of all wine enthusiasts. Nevertheless, in August 2011 the Company decided to delist its shares through a MBO and embark on companywide management reforms toward the goal of becoming less susceptible to short-term fluctuations in business performance and enhancing its corporate value through long-term and sustained growth. The Company intends to leverage its unique strength of being able to offer an extensive selection of imported wines, which has been nurtured over the years through its close ties to the wine producers around the world; reinforce the system of collaboration between the wine shops, wholesale and online shop; foster “wine professionals” through enhanced employee training; and expand the ENOTECA brand throughout the world, particularly in China through accelerated store openings. |
