A History of Fort Canning
Fort Canning is one of Singapore’s most historic landmarks. It has since witnessed much of Singapore growth from when Sultans ruled from its peak, the island’s transformation from a sleepy fishing village and into a vibrant trading hub in the 19th century. Now, with its distinctive charm, it draws the crowd to its lush lawn for events and festivals.
