One chef who has a passion for both modern and traditional Chinese cuisine would be the ever-smiling Chef Ken Ling. Having helmed the kitchen of Club Chinois for more than a decade and with nearly three decades of culinary experience, he currently oversees the culinary operations of Chinois by Susur Lee. With an ambition to elevate the status of Chinese cuisine to the next level, Chef Ling is one who believes in using only the best ingredients in his cooking, presenting these ingredients in the best way possible. Throughout his career, he has cooked for some of the greatest world leaders and celebrities – from Singapore’s President S R Nathan, former president of the United States, George W Bush to Jackie Chan, Stephen Chow and Gong Li.
