When Chef Chung Lap Fai sees customers returning for his dishes at Hua Ting, he feels that all his hard work is worth the effort. Spurred by his love of food, he started his culinary career as an apprentice chef at the age of seventeen. In 1991, Chef Chung Lap Fai arrived in Singapore, working in some of the best Chinese restaurants before joining Orchard Hotel Singapore in 1995. His passion and hard work saw him rise through the ranks and always one with a will to succeed, Chef Chung Lap Fai always has the passion to better himself. Today, he heads the team at Hua Ting where he pleases diners with his Cantonese specialties.
