Born in Brescia, Italy, Roberto Galetti honed his culinary skills at the prestigious Culinary Institute Caterina de Medici in Italy and set out to develop his career and see the world in 1989, with only a diploma in hand. Galetti left for England the day after his graduation and landed a job as chef de partie in Park Room Restaurant situated at one of London’s grandest hotel – Hyde Park Hotel.
Leaving England for Italy, Galetti went on to join the Schwaithlalm Hotel in Austria where during that time he was head hunted by then director of kitchens for the Bice Group, Giacomo Gallina. Galetti who worked under the Bice Group in Argentina and then Tokyo finally came to Singapore, where he now calls home.
At age 35, Galetti is already the owner of more than three food and beverage establishments in Singapore – Gariabldi Italian Restaurant & Bar, Menotti Italian Cafe and Ricotti Italian Deli.
