World Gourmet Summit Charity Gala Dinner (Past-Present-Future)

The charity dinner is a signature event that has won international accolades, WGS 2015 is a celebration of the world’s finest flavours, extraordinary wines and unique dining experience. Guests at the Charity Dinner can look forward to an array of delectable discoveries, the presence of International Guest Chefs, exciting performances and a “Live Auction”. Over the past decade, the annual WGS Charity Gala Dinner has raised more than $5 million for over 200 social service programmes supported by Community Chest. Each year, the event is well attended by society elite, senior corporate leaders and government officials in private capacity.

This year, Singapore is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its independence and we have identified Chef Cherish Finden of Singapore origin, three times World Champions – Singapore National Culinary Team, two Michelin starred Masterchef Tim Raue whose cuisine is inspired by Asian flavours and head chef Andrew Nocente of W Singapore to be the four representatives of Singapore’s culinary evolution at the Gala Dinner. With the Charity Gala Dinner theme of “Past, Present, Future”, there will also be live entertainment presented by sensational local performers such as Kit Chan, Broadway Beng and Vocaluptuous.
