The organisers shall not be responsible for
any loss or damage as a result of a substitution,
alteration, cancellation or postponement of any
event. The organisers shall not be liable whatsoever
in cases where these events are cancelled, rescheduled
or postponed due to any fortuitous event, Acts
of God, unforeseen occurrence, accident or any
other event beyond the control of the organisers
that renders performance of any of the events
impracticable or impossible. For purposes of this
clause, a fortuitous event shall include, but
not be limited to: SARS, epidemics, terrorism
or threats of terrorism, riots, civil commotion,
sabotage, acts of war, fire, floods, explosion,
malicious mischief, theft, interruption or delay
in transportation, shortage or failure of supply
of materials, labour disputes shortages or strike,
extreme weather or other emergency. |
