Bonaventura Mansi, the recently appointed executive chef of
The
Fullerton Singapore
is not a newcomer to Asia. Having worked at various Asian countries
including Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines, and Thailand, he is
very familiar with the Asian culinary heritage and culture, in
addition to his European roots.
Of Italian
origin, he began his culinary career as an apprentice at restaurants
and hotels in Italy during the early 1980s. He then moved on to
work in other European cities such as London and Geneva.
In 1995, he
joined the Shangri-La Hotel in Bangkok as an Italian chef at its
open kitchen Italian restaurant, Angelini's. From then on, he
has continued to stay in Asia and has worked at some of the most
prestigious properties of the Shangri-La Group.
