    The WGS will begin with a Welcome Reception on 25 July 1999. Each hosting establishment will prepare 2-3 signature New Asia Cuisine dishes with the support of the Singapore Chef’s Association in a charming colonial setting at Chijmes. More

    Lunch and Dinner
    Participating Hosting Establishments

    For 4 days, ten restaurants from nine participating hosting establishments, reflecting the best that Singapore has to offer, will serve up dishes specially created by the guest Master Chefs complimented by the fine wines of guest vintners for lunch and dinner promotions. Diners will be treated to unique WGS menus that truly reflect the style and talent of the Masters of Food and Wine. More

    A great opportunity to pick up the finer points of cooking as guest Master Chefs showcase their specialties to paying students. Each session will feature 2 guest chefs demonstrating 2 to 3 (depending on style of cuisine) of his signature dishes and sharing their secrets to culinary specialties. More

    Wine Tastings
    July 29th, 1999
    6.30pm & 7.30pm
    Regent Hotel

    Special wine tasting sessions will be conducted, providing an opportunity for both novices and gourmands to sample rare samples of precious vintages from all over the world presented and analyzed by experienced collectors/wine makers. More

    Participating Hosting Establishments

    Embark on a unique dining experience that will take diners to five different restaurants, each serving a course by a Masterchef matched with the wines of guest vintners. This gastronomic odyssey is planned to the last detail by our culinary experts. The programme will be featured for 4 evenings during the Summit. More

    American Express Grand Finale Dinner
    July 30th, 1999

    Grand Hyatt

    This evening will be a spectacular showcase of signature dishes from the Masterchefs accompanied by fine wines of guest vintners. The nine-course banquet will unfold amidst glitzy entertainment bringing an unforgettable and befitting climax for the food-adventure in New Asia Singapore. More
