The White Rabbit
The White Rabbit is a beautiful restaurant and bar housed in a restored 1930s chapel that has become a landmark of Dempsey Hill. Unveiled in 2008 by The Lo & Behold Group (who created Loof, OverEasy, Tanjong Beach Club, Extra Virgin Pizza and The Black Swan), The White Rabbit’s combination of intricate design, old-world charm and classic European cuisine has garnered a following of regulars as well as well-heeled travellers.
Created by Head Chef Benjamin Tan, the restaurant’s menu is a tribute to classic European cuisine. Timeless favourites such as beef carpaccio and lobster bisque are executed with contemporary flair and taken to new heights with sumptuous ingredients and dramatic presentation. The White Rabbit’s wine programme is also a highlight. Helmed by The White Rabbit’s General Manager and Group Sommelier Mentor, Kelvin Tay, its cellar is an assembly of over a hundred labels – both timeless classics and smaller, independent winemakers distinguished for their craftsmanship and creativity. Tay has trained and worked extensively around the globe, developing wine programmes for numerous hotels and fine dining establishments since 1996, and sat on the panel for various wine competitions. |
