Shortly after completing his culinary studies at Pennsylvania Institute of Culinary Arts, Pittsburgh, United States in 1997, Chef Henrique Sá Pessoa moved on to London where he embarked on his professional career at the famous Sheraton Park Lane on Piccadilly. With years of experience from a few countries collated in his résumé, Chef Pessoa took on the position as head chef firstly at Xarope Restaurant and went on to achieve remarkable results like Chef of The Year Contest winner after joining Bairro Alto Hotel. Chef Pessoa has further gained recognition with his involvement in television emission- Entre Pratos, that was broadcasted weekly with a goal to show new and easy ideas on how to cook in a more informal way. The Portuguese Academy of Culinary has also rewarded him with the Art of Cooking award in commendation of his culinary work. Watch out for the new and upcoming star!
