British born, long time Australian resident, masterchef Ian Curley is the quintessential classical chef. He bears a compelling personality with a wicked sense of humour as seen in his Australian culinary show, Conviction Kitchen. Considered one of Australia’s first-class chefs – he has worked as head chef in a number of Melbourne’s top restaurants such as Stella and The Point. Yet he maintains a traditional approach to cooking. Chef Curley has seen food trends come and go and no new age philosophies are going to change the way this man cooks. After all, his philosophy has always been to keep it honest and flavoursome, it's as simple as that.
