The head bartender of Der Raum, one of the best bars in Australia and perhaps the world, was awarded the inaugural Harper’s BAZAAR and Belvedere Vodka luxury reborn award for WISDOM – sommelier/bartender last year. Begbie and Der Raum make a cosmic pairing, as the latter allows Begbie to indulge his passion for making classic drinks with contemporary cocktail craft while he continues to lead Der Raum to greater heights (the bar was ranked eighth in the world’s 50 best bars selection by Drinks International last year).
