Frédéric Mugnier was a off-shore oil project manager, before he rejoined his father’s business in 1985 after a six month crash course on viticulture and oenlogy at Lycée Viticole de Beaune. With an insatiable appetite for adventure, meanwhile, he also obtained a pilot licence in 1988 and pilot for the French airline TAT for 10 years.
