World Gourmet Summit (WGS) 2007 kicked off on a much more casual and relaxed note this year, with the Meet The Stars press conference conducted in a ’lounge-style’ at the Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore. Host Darryl David shared the stage with Peter A Knipp of Peter Knipp Holdings, co-organiser of WGS, while the stars of WGS (chefs and celebrities like Chong Liew, Keith Floyd, Alain Llorca and Bobby Chinn) mingled with guests and members of the press around the room.
