Awards of Excellence Presentation, 30 March 2003 Announcing the Pinnacles of the Industry In its third year, the Awards of Excellence (AOE) aims to aspire the spectrum of talent in the Singapore F&B industry and spur the industry towards excellence. Endorsed by STB, this is the only national award for the food & beverage industry that recognises the best that Singapore has to offer. The Awards will also present three scholarships to deserving talents ~ the Bodegas Torres Wine Scholarship, Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Scholarship and the Cacao Barry Patisserie Scholarship. The Perfect Matrimony of Beer and Food To be held at The Regent Singapore, the Gourmet Beer Masterclass will advocate the art of matching beer with fine cuisine. Special Guest Presenter, Mr. Herwig Van Hove who is also Belgium's most celebrated beer connoisseur, will conduct this beer and food pairing class together with the cuisine of Chef Robert Mayer from The Regent Singapore. The beer tasting-food pairing session include premium gourmet beers such as Stella Artois® , Hoegaarden® White, Hoegaarden® Forbidden Fruit, Leffe® Blond, Leffe® Brune and Belle Vue® Kriek.
