Nicolas Perrin

Maison Nicolas Perrin is the encounter between two passionate and instinctive approaches to wine, built on savoir-faire and gained from years of experience in both regions of Cotes du Rhone.

In the south, Famille Perrin, owners of Chateau de Beaucastel, masters the art of blending and is in constant quest of the right balance between colour, freshness, body, richness and tannins. In the north, Nicolas Jaboulet, contributes with his knowledge of the terroirs, the soils and the winemakers. Climate, exposure, altitude, type of soil, age of the vines, all these are variable factors that make subtle changes to the wine and have to be understood in order to get the best out of each of them.

We produce wines from the Northern Rhone Valley. On these well known appellations like Ermitage, Cote Rotie, Saint-Joseph, Cornas, Condrieu, Crozes-Hermitage, Saint-Peray, the ageing and blending depend on the diversity and complexity of the terroirs. If we were to describe the style of our wines in a few words, we could mention precision for the fruit and spice, elegance and softness for the tannins and depth and richness for the structure.
