Alessia Antinori is an oenologist for Antinori Wines. This family-owned company’s heritage boasts 26 generations and over 600 years of traditional and innovative wine production in Tuscany and Umbria. Antinori, a native of Florence, spent summers and weekends at her family’s wine estates in Chianti Classico and Umbria learning the intricacies of wine making. She has also been actively involved in harvesting in her family’s estate for more than a decade. Recently, she became the export manager of new emerging countries like Middle East, Asia and Australia. In addition, Antinori also served as President of Premium Familiae Vini, an organisation of 12 of the most prestigious wine families of the world, from 2003 to 2004.
