Single Quinta Port & Douro Wines

Dating back to 1615 Quinta do Crasto has been in the family of Leonor and Jorge Roquette for over a century.
Nestled on a privileged location in the heart of the Douro Demarcated Region, Quinta do Crasto is a property of 135 hectares of predominantly south facing slopes extending from the banks of the river up to an altitude of nearly 600 meter. Vineyards covering 85 hectares are mostly planted on terraces carved from the schist, the characteristic slate-like bedrock of the Douro, which allows the vine roots to penetrate deep in search of water.
Quinta da Cabreira, a 150-hectare estate located in the Upper Douro (also known as Douro Superior) is the most recent investment made with 114 hectares planted and now under full production.
Despite the use of state-of-the-art winemaking technology, the Quinta has always retained its traditional foot treading method in granite tanks called “lagares”. The serious commitment to history and tradition, in conjunction with all the investment and passion that goes into the winemaking, has earned Quinta do Crasto worldwide renown.
