Domingos Alves de Sousa brings his wines to life, following a family tradition started by his grandfather and which today is also joined by his children. Vinifying exclusively the grapes from his Quintas, truly unique terroirs, the quality and uniqueness of his wines are widely recognised, with distinctions and references in the most respected national and international publications. Special mention should be made of the "Producer of the Year" award in 1999 and again in 2006 from the “Revista de Vinhos” magazine, making him the first to twice receive the most important distinction for a wine producer in Portugal.
