Winterhalter was established in 1947 by Karl Winterhalter in Friedrichshafen Germany along the Lake of Constance. Supplying from its production plants located in Meckenbeuren (headquarters), Endingen and Ruthi in the Swiss Rhine valley, exports now account for about 75 percent of total production.
