Continuing the legacy of award-winning years that Gattopardo has established, the energetic duo of "Gio & Ken" is carrying forward the Sicilian tradition at Gattopardo Ristorante Di Mare since early 2019.
Located at a charming historic shophouse in the heart of the bustling Tanjong Pagar neighborhood, the Gattopardo team has cultivated loyal patrons for sustainable seafood in Singapore.
Chefs Giovanni & Chef Kenneth philosophy of serving Italian food that is light, refreshing and healthy is a welcome change for Singaporean diners.
"Il Gattopardo", named after the famous Sicilian novel by Giuseppe Tommasi di Lampedusa that chronicles the changes in Sicilian life and society during the Risorgimento, is a place where contemporary Italian design and Mediterranean flavours meet the authentic colonial architecture of Singapore.
There are more appeals at Gattopardo Ristorante beyond their delicious Sicilian style healthy seafood dishes. Our restaurant managers, Anna Giavedoni serving alongside Klevis Shima and our resident sommelier Giedrius Lazutka give Gattopardo a warm and engaging ambiance. Just like in Sicily!
The Food Philosophy
Good food does not have to be complicated.
Sicilian cuisine has many unique and interesting flavours due to its geographic location. It focuses is on natural ingredients with simple cooking requirements, enforcing the main star of the dish - sustainable seafood. Our menu changes with the season, sourcing seasonal ingredients and seafood that has been sustainably farmed, transforming them into Sicilian style dishes. We ensure that the fisheries fit the MSC Fisheries Standard, a well-respected American standard that certifies that fisheries are well-managed and sustainable, or that they have been certified by Friends of the Sea.
