Chef Edward Chong joined Marina Mandarin Singapore in 2017 as the new Executive Chinese Chef of Peach Blossoms, a highly acclaimed Chinese restaurant famed for its Cantonese cuisine.

Backed by 16 years of experience, Chef Edward is a seasoned culinary professional who specialises in Chinese fusion and Cantonese cuisines. He believes in using the freshest ingredients and bringing out the natural flavours of the seafood, meats and crisp vegetables.  Inspired by his mother’s cooking, Chef strives to serve up wholesome dishes like how a mother would for her son.

From taste to presentation, Chef exercises creativity while paying attention to details. In his free time, he likes to explore unique crockery as he conceptualises another exquisite presentation for his next new dish.

Chef Edward started his culinary career as a Commis, Chef De Partie at Jade at The Fullerton Hotel, and worked his way up to become the Assistant Chinese Chef at Pine Court at Meritus Mandarin and subsequently Sous Chef at Forest at Resorts World Sentosa. Prior to joining Marina Mandarin, he was the Master Chinese Chef at Majestic Restaurant.
