“In light of the recent changes in the battle against the Novel Coronavirus (COVID 19), and guidelines as implemented by the government in Singapore, the World Gourmet Summit team has made the decision to postpone the 24th edition of the event, originally scheduled for the month of April, to August/September 2020, with dates to be confirmed at a later date.
This decision to continue with this event at a later date was made after considering the stricter restrictions on travel & tourism in Singapore, as well as social distancing and other guidelines. As such, we have made the decision to push back the main events of WGS 2020 to a later date so that we can safeguard the health of the public, our partners and our attendees.
Above all, we seek your kind understanding and hope that we can get through this period together, stronger than ever, and resilient against any obstacles we face. We are proud of Singapore’s actions so far in containing the spread of the crisis, and we thank you for your support as we work together to stem the spread of COVID-19. In Solidarity, we stand together, yet still preserving our Originality to create and be enterprising. We hope that this spirit remains Unwavering and that we will, throughout this year, support our Local businesses and industries. We are united in strength and SOUL, and we will brave what comes next.”
