Born in the small town of Brescia, Lombardy, Chef Denis has always enjoyed experimenting with various ingredients sourced from all provinces of Italy. While waiting tables in a restaurant during his summer vacations in his younger days, Chef Denis fell instantly in love with the magic brewing in the kitchen – the aroma from cooking pots, the vibrant colours of fresh ingredients and the endless buzz of energy. It was these magical moments that fueled his determination to pursue his love for cooking and eventually establish a name for himself. Chef Denis trained in some of the most premier restaurants in London and Rome, on top of working with celebrated chefs at a Michelinstarred restaurant in his hometown of Lake Garda. With an impressive list of distinguished Italian restaurants in Singapore such as Gattopardo and Garibaldi to boot, Chef Denis has acquired valuable and varied experiences that have positively shaped and honed his culinary skills along the way. Chef Denis modern interpretation of classic Italian cuisine emphasize on using only the freshest and top quality ingredients from around the world. His philosophy in balancing textures and flavours are a personal culinary statement of his creative expressions.
