Bobby Chinn
Host of World Café: Asia on Discovery Travel & Living

Born in New Zealand, brought-up in San Francisco and educated in England, the French-trained chef Bobby Chinn is no greenhorn to the culinary scene. Geared with a myriad of cultural influences, Chinn moved to Vietnam to learn the cuisine and ended up staying for good. Now, he is skilled at improvising on the traditional Vietnamese cuisine, giving it a cutting edge and a modern twist.
A dynamic character backed with a bag full of humor, Chinn can definitely spice up any conversation. The finance and economic graduate has been everything from a shoe-shine boy to a stand-up comedian to a waiter, before eventually discovering his passion in the kitchen. Apart from running his own Vietnamese restaurant, he is also the host of the new food and travel series World Café: Asia premiering on Discovery Travel & Living this March.
