Chef Jacky Shaw’s experience in the culinary arena began in 1991. Since then, he had been actively involved in the field as a member of the Cuisine Association of Shanghai. Young and talented, he was named National Chef for Chinese Cuisine in 2002, and in 2005, was recognized as National Outstanding Young Chef.

His expertise is evident in the several top-rated hotels he had worked for. He was personally handpicked by Tung Lok Group and Jin Jiang International Group to head the kitchen operations at Jin Lu - The Chinoise Story, Shanghai.


Jin Lu - The Chinoise Story offers an exquisite selection of contemporary Chinese specialities and a variety of new Shanghai cuisine. Since it opened in June 2006, the restaurant has already garnered several awards and recognition by top publications in Shanghai, including Best Restaurant 2006 by Modern Weekly and Best Restaurant 2007 by Shanghai Tatler.
