Cuisine Style: French
Hosted at: Michelangelo’s Restaurant Group

A protégé of the legendary French chef Paul Bocuse, Philippe Mouchel is one of the world’s most highly regarded French chef. Backed with more than 30 years of culinary experience, the brasserie by Philippe Mouchel was opened in April 2004.

Mouchel began his career at the age of 16 and has since worked in some of the finest restaurants in France such as Hotel Frantel in Bordeaux and Restaurant Roger Vergé in Mougins. From there, Mouchel’s culinary experiences had seen him opening restaurants as head chef for Paul Bocuse in Lyon, Japan, Hong Kong, Australia and Houston, USA.

Having been appointed as executive chef at Restaurant Paul Bocuse, Mouchel seeks to provide diners a place where they can enjoy contemporary French cuisine at a reasonable price - thus the opening of the brasserie. Through this restaurant, Mouchel aims to showcase the excellent produce of Australia and serve-up flavoursome food at a good value.

The brasserie by Philippe Mouchel exudes a convivial aura, and is a perfect place for a quick business lunch or a leisure meal.
