Founding chef of Whampoa Club, Jereme Leung is now recognised as one of the world’s most outstanding Chinese chef. The exquisiteness of his cuisine has resulted in Leung being dubbed ‘a culinary genius’ by none other than Patricia Wells, food critic of the International Herald Tribute. A pioneer in modern Chinese cuisine, Leung has garnered countless accolades and praise for his creative interpretation of Chinese cuisine.


Well versed in the major cornerstones of Chinese cuisine, Leung was able to experiment and improvise Chinese cuisine to suit the taste buds of gourmands who wish to seek more out of fine-dining and yet remaining true to the Chinese roots.

Leung creates simple, unadorned Chinese cuisine that despite its simplicity provides an explosion of flavour that is pure and honest. Leung was conferred the Five Star Diamond Award in 2000.
