This Privacy Policy describes the principles and practices that apply to the collection and use of personal information (defined below) that Peter Knipp Holdings Pte Ltd and/or its related entities, affiliates and subsidiaries (individually and collectively, "PKH") collects from or through Site from You, an individual User (“You” or “Your”).

Your privacy is very important to PKH and we are committed on safeguarding your Privacy. Hence PKH is providing this Statement to explain our online information collection and usage practices, as well as to inform you on the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used on the Website. This policy also describes your data protection rights, including a right to object to some of the processing which we carry out. More information about your rights, and how to exercise them, is set out in the “What rights do I have?” section.

1. Summary of the use of your personal data

1.1. PKH collect your personal information to provide you with the content, products and services that you requests;

1.2. PKH may use your personal information to understand how to better market our products to you;

1.3. PKH do not share your personal information with third parties other than our service providers, or in the course of our business with you, or in the event of a dispute, unless required by law;

1.4. PKH take reasonable measures to protect the security of your personal information;

1.5. PKH want to sell our products to you, but PKH do not want to annoy them. PKH provide numerous ways for you to limit our use of your personal information;

1.6. You are entitled to a transparent relationship. You have the right to access, and obtain correction or deletion of, personal information about yourself that PKH have collected and retained.

1.7. PKH rely on your consent, such as for direct marketing, technical support, software updates and analytics, you can withdraw this consent at any time.

2. Scope and Consent

2.1. This Privacy Policy applies to the information that PKH collect or receive from you of the Website; and any individual with whom PKH interact through telephone, correspondence, or electronic communications, newsletters, interviews, surveys, contests or promotions.

By using our Website, you are consenting to the processing of your information by or on behalf of PKH as set forth in this Privacy Policy. Your continued use of the Website, or continued interaction with us after we have notified you of a material change in our Privacy Policy in accordance with the Updates section below will be deemed an acceptance of these new terms.

3. What personal information does PKH collect?

3.1. We collect and process personal data about you when you interact with us, our Site, and when you purchase Products and Services from us. This includes:

-  Your name, username and password;

-  your email address and phone number;

-  date of birth;

-  your home address;

-  your payment and delivery details, including billing address and credit card details, where you make purchases from us;

-  your Facebook login;

-  your IP address and browser location when visiting our Site and at the time of purchase;

-  information related to the browser or device you use to access our Site;

-  cuisine preference;

-  analytical information regarding your usage of our Site; and

-  your marketing preferences, including any consents you have given us.

3.2. In addition, we may receive personal data from sources other than you, such as from third-party websites, applications, services, Partners and other third parties, including individuals who have added you as a guest to their reservation. If you are an existing PKH user we may combine this information with information we have on you and use it for the purposes described below. We may collect information through cookies and other technologies, such as information about a user's online activity, the pages of our Site that you visited, the search terms used, and any link or advertisements on which you click. 4. How does PKH use personal information, and what is the legal basis for this use?

4.1. Our primary goals in collecting personal information are to assist you in completing the purchase of our Products or Services; to interact with you, such as providing information about our new Products or Services; to better understand the individuals who are interested in our Products or Services, so that we can find more efficient and effective ways to respond to your questions and inquiries, and market our products to you. The more we know about your interests, the better we can communicate with you, anticipate your needs and communicate with you in a productive and enjoyable manner.

4.2. We process your personal data for the following purposes:

4.2.1. Performance of a contract - To fulfil a contract, or take steps linked to a contract: this is relevant where you make or purchase Products or Services from us. This includes:

-  Verifying your identity;

-  taking payments;

-  communicating with you;

-  delivering to you the Products and Services that you have purchased; and

-  providing after-sales support to you.

4.2.2. Legitimate purpose - Where PKH has a legitimate interest. This includes:

-  Where we use information you provide to personalise our Site, Products or Services for you;

-  where we monitor customer accounts to prevent, investigate and/or report fraud, terrorism, misrepresentation, security incidents or crime, in accordance with applicable law;

-  monitoring use of our Sites and online services, and use your information to help us monitor, improve and protect our Products, Content, Services and Sites, both online and offline; and

-  conducting research, analysis and analytics.

4.2.3. Consent - Where you give us consent:

-  We will send you direct marketing in relation to our relevant Products and Services, or other Products and Services provided by our Partners.

-  We place cookies and use similar technologies in accordance with our Cookies Policy and the information provided to you when those technologies are used.

-  On other occasions where we ask you for consent, we will use the data for the purpose which we explain at that time.

4.2.4. Required by law - For purposes which are required by law:

-  We need parental consent from parent or guardian of a child or ward who is less than 18 years old and who is accessing this Site and using the Services. However, our Sites are not designed for children under 18.

-  In response to requests by government or law enforcement authorities conducting an investigation.

4.3. The Site is not directed to persons under 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with personal information without their consent, he or she should contact us as indicated in the How to contact us section. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will remove such information from our files.

4.4. In certain jurisdictions, consent is the primary ground on which personal data may be processed by an organisation. In those jurisdictions, processing personal data in connection with the performance of a contract or legitimate purposes is not recognised as an accepted ground on which personal data may be processed. Accordingly, if you are a resident in such a jurisdiction, you agree that consent will be the ground on which PKH will process your personal data instead of performance of a contract or legitimate purposes.

5.  User’s Right

5.1. Right not to provide information - You can choose not to provide us with any personal information. However, if you wish to obtain access to certain content, ask us a question, initiate a transaction, or to take advantage of certain features of the Site, you may be required to provide certain contact or other Personal Information, as indicated in the relevant form. 

5.2. Right to block cookies - You can choose to block cookies. To do so, please review the Cookies and Other Technologies section. Please note that if you refuse to accept cookies from this Site, you will not be able to access certain portions of the Site. 

5.3. Right to object to new uses of your Personal Information - If at any time we wish to disclose, or use your personal information in a way, or for a purpose other than as described in this Privacy Policy, we will give you the opportunity to choose (opt out) whether your personal information may be used for a purpose other than the purposes that are set forth in this Privacy Policy before the changes become effective. 

5.4. Right to know about third party marketing - We do not currently share your personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. If at any time we wish to disclose, or use your personal information in a way, or for a purpose other than as described in this Privacy Policy, we will give you the opportunity to choose (opt out) whether your personal information may be disclosed to a third party. 

5.5. Right to block marketing communications - In some cases, we are able to send you direct marketing without your consent, where we rely on our legitimate interests. You have an absolute right to opt-out of direct marketing, or profiling we carry out for direct marketing, at any time. You can do this by following the instructions in the communication where this is an electronic message, or by contacting as indicated in the How to contact us section. Please note that even if you opt-out of receiving marketing communications, we may need to send you service-related communications such as confirmations of any future services you may make.

5.6.Accessing, Changing or Deleting Personal Information - If you are a Registered User of the Site, you may update or correct the information you provided to us by logging into your account and making the applicable changes or by requesting us to make such changes by contacting as indicated in the How to contact us section. We will respond to requests for access as soon as possible.

6. With whom will PKH share Personal Information

6.1. Partners - We may team up with other companies ("Partners") to offer certain promotions, jointly sponsor and promote such promotions, and develop subsites or separate websites that are used for a promotion. If you decide to participate in one of these promotions, the personal information that is collected from the relevant subsite will be collected by both PKH and the Partner(s) participating in the promotion. We will use that information in accordance with this Privacy Policy, and our Partner will use it in accordance with its own privacy policy. Please note that we do have any control over these third party websites and your use or the third party websites are subject to their privacy policy. Your use of the third parties' website is at your own risk. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of those third party websites. Personal data will also be shared with Partners when a reservation is made or if an event ticket is purchased. This can include your name, email address, phone number, profile, time and date of visit, party size, dining preferences, special requests, guest information and other comments that you chose to submit to us. We may also share with Partners any feedback that we receive from you or any comments that you might submit through our Site. Any feedback or comments may be shared with or may be accessible by that Partner so as to enable that Partner to respond directly to you.

6.2. Service Providers - We may engage certain third parties to perform functions and provide services to us, including, without limitation, hosting and maintenance, customer relationship, storage, database management, credit card processing, shipping, fraud prevention, business analytics, chat, website analytics, website optimization, lead scoring, retargeting, direct marketing campaign and the sending of newsletters, or similar services. We will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these functions and provide such services, and only pursuant to binding contractual obligations requiring such third parties to maintain the privacy and security of your personal information.

6.3.To Defend or Enforce our Rights - We may use or share personal information to protect PKH or protect the Site, to establish or exercise our legal rights, respond to a breach of our Website T&Cs, when we believe it is appropriate to protect the property and rights of PKH or a third party, the safety of our company, our customers or others, to investigate, prevent, take action against, or stop any fraudulent, illegal, unethical, or legally actionable activity, in connection with our Site, or other products the PKH Website T&Cs, or other agreements. 

6.4. Business Transfers - If any or all of the assets of PKH are acquired by, or merged with those of another entity, or in the unlikely event of a bankruptcy, we may disclose, share or transfer some or all of our users' personal information to or with our advisers, this entity’s adviser or this entity in preparation of the transaction, as part of the due diligence, or after the transaction has been consummated, so that the successor entity can continue providing our services to our users. If the recipient of the personal information has personal information practices that do not meet the substance of this Privacy Policy, you will be given the opportunity not to continue to use the Site. 

6.5. Compliance with Laws and Third Party Requests - PKH cooperates with government and law enforcement officials or private parties to enforce and comply with the law. We may disclose any information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties as we, in our reasonable discretion, believe necessary or appropriate to respond to and defend against legal claims, respond to legal process (including a facially valid subpoena, warrant, court order or other legal process), or otherwise as required by law. Please note that we may not be able to notify you of a request for the disclosure of your information as described above, because doing so might be prohibited by law, or because doing so would jeopardize an investigation into illegal or fraudulent activity, or because we do not have your contact information.

6.6. Aggregate Information - We may prepare reports, market analysis, and trend analysis that are based on compilation of data that PKH has collected. These reports do not contain specific user information, but only aggregate information regarding a group of users. Data aggregation is a process in which data is gathered and expressed in a summary form for purposes such as statistical analysis, in order to obtain information about a particular group based on specific variables. This aggregated information is used for industry analysis, demographic profiling, and other purposes.  

7. Data Security

7.1.PKH employs administrative, physical and technical measures such as up-to-date antivirus protection, encryption and the use of privacy filters to secure all storage and transmission of personal data by us, and disclosing personal data both internally and to our authorised third party service providers, Partners and agents is only on a need-to-know basis, to protect your information from unauthorized access, collection, loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration, copying, destruction or similar risks. While we do our best to implement security measures, we do not guarantee that our safeguards will always work. 

7.2. When we need to transfer information out of our firewall, we use industry-standard technological means to protect personal information while in transit through the Internet. We use encryption and a comprehensive authentication protocol to provide reasonable security when transmitting sensitive information (such as credit card information). While security cannot be guaranteed, we strive to protect the security of your information and are constantly reviewing and enhancing our information security measures.

8. Data Retention

8.1. We will retain user information for as long as the user account is active or as needed to provide services to the user. If you wish to cancel your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide you services contact us as indicated in the How to contact us section.

8.2. We will process personal data in connection with performing a contract; we will keep the data for 6 years from the date of contract.

8.3. We will process personal data for site security purposes; we retain it for 12 months or such other long period as may be required in certain jurisdictions.

8.4. We will process personal data for marketing purposes or with your consent, we will process the data until you ask us to stop and for a short period after this (to allow us to implement your requests). We will also keep a record of the fact that you have asked us not to send you direct marketing or to process your data indefinitely so that we can respect your request in future.

8.5. Please note, however, that we will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We will respond to requests for access as soon as practicable. 

9. Policy Disputes and Updates

9.1. If you have any concerns or claims with respect to our Privacy Policy, please contact us as indicated in the How to contact us section. We will investigate and attempt to resolve any complaints and disputes regarding our use and disclosure of personal information. If the complaint or dispute cannot be resolved through our internal process, the dispute will be resolved in accordance with the Dispute section in our Website T&Cs.

9.2. This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time in order to reflect changes in our practices. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on the Site, and will obtain the necessary consents as may be required under applicable law if we seek to collect, use or disclose personal information for purposes other than those for which consent has been obtained.

9.3. Except as stated above, all changes will apply to the personal information that are already collected, and to personal information that are collected after the effective date of the revised policy. If any proposed change is unacceptable to you, you will have the right to terminate your account with us. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes.
