Chef Christophe Megel’s 30-year culinary career has seen him in cities like New York, Monaco and Japan, working in top restaurants with luminaries like Chef Alain Ducasse, before coming to Singapore to act as the Executive Chef at The Ritz-Carlton.  He’s served as the CEO of At-Sunrice GlobalChef Academy for 9 years and under his leadership, the academy moved to a brand new state-of-the-art academy in 2011, while winning several best culinary awards including the prestigious Edutrust qualification. He’s also served as President for Bocuse d’Or Singapore, and sits on the Singapore Chefs’ Association Committee, overseeing educational activities.

Chef Megel was the recipient of Best Asian Cuisine Book in the World at the Gourmand World Media Award 2006 for his culinary penman entree “Asian Tapas: Small Bites, Big Flavours”, and was conferred French Masterchef status by the French Association of Master Chefs in 2007.

He’s received the International Management Action Award from the Charter Management Institute (CMI), and was also conferred the Work Skill Qualification Advocate Award by the Singapore Workforce Development Agency.

Currently, Chef Megel continues to wear several hats in his career. He’s the Director of Bar-Roque Grill, the Founder and Director of A-Munition Pte Ltd, the Executive Director of Q-Industries & Trade Pte Ltd, and the Co-Founder of CLIMB Academy, and they are all testament to his career as a chef turned entrepreneur.
