Venue: Marina Bay Sands

If the press conference of this year’s 15th anniversary celebration of the World Gourmet Summit (WGS) was any indication, it is safe to say guests attending the annual gourmet extravaganza have a lot to look forward to. Unlike press conference of past years, this year’s edition saw the summit adopting a bistro concept – Peter A Knipp (organiser of WGS), Han Kwee Juan (Citibank’s managing director and head of credit payment products) and the event’s emcee, Darryl David sat together on a coffee table on stage discussing what will be happening for the next two weeks. Invited masterchefs from all over the world were also invited on stage and ladies and gentlemen, this is the beginning of 15 years of World Gourmet Summit.
