Austrian wines are much sought
after in the European and US markets, and due to the
small volume, demand often exceeds supply. The Austrian
Wine Marketing Board will be bringing in two celebrated
winemakers - Willi Bründlmayer and Feiler Artinger.
Feiler Artinger Estate is ranked alongside Alois Kracher
as one of the world's most sought after producers of
bortrytised sweet wines, but beyond that, the talented
winemaker is also known for making excellent dry white
wines. The institutional Bründlmayer estate is known
for its range of quality wines, and the revolutionary
'Bründlmayer Brut' - a wine that's kept on lees for
three years then riddled by hand before disgorgement,
is in a class of its own.
