What is great food without fine wine? A memorable dining experience
must be accompanied with fine wines. Distinguished wineries from
all over the world are invited to participate in this two-week extravaganza,
showcasing their gems at each partner restaurant.
Barone
Ricasoli is known as the “father of Chianti,” the Ricasoli
name is inextricably associated with the production of Chianti Classico
wine and a synonym of Italian wine. Their Castello Di Brolio 2000
has received the "Three Glasses" award from the prestigious
guide “Vini d’Italia 2004” and Casalferro 2000 won
the prestigious Red Wine of the Year Award and the trophy for the
outstanding Italian Red Wine of the Year at the 2003 International
Wine Challenge Awards, just to list a few. Barone Ricasoli is responsible
for making Chianti the universal term it is today.
Ceretto
has been producing and aging Piedmontese wines for over 70 years.
Their wines have consistently been winning accolades and accomplishing
high scores in magazines like Wine Spectator, The Wine
Advocate and Wine Enthusiast. The Ceretto family has
continued producing the finest wines in the region with a combination
of retaining tradition and modernising their practices to produce
the best results.
Being
the 9th largest vineyard in Champagne, Champagne Duval-Leroy has certainly
established a reputation of producing the finest and most exquisite
Champagnes in the world. Her portfolio of numerous international accolades
include a Gold and three Silvers at the Mundus Vini, a Gold and a
Silver for the Les Olympiades du Vin during the Vinexpo Bordeaux 2001
and an amazing win of two Gold and three Silver Awards at the International
Wine Challenge during the London International Wine Trade Fair 2001.
At
the heart of Domaine Drouhin Oregon’s 225-acre estate are the
85 acres of hillside vineyards in Oregon’s Red Hills, which
produce two acclaimed Pinot noir cuvees and a very limited amount
of Chardonnay. These vineyards share a nearly identical climate, latitude
and aspect with their counterparts in France. These vineyards are
also one of the few in the country to cultivate its own rootstocks,
and propagate all of its own plant materials – meaning that
everything planted on the estate is unique to the estate. Vintage

Jean
Leon has made its name amongst the critics as "The Wine of the
Stars." It has won numerous awards including the Excellence du
Vin prize in France (1990), the Gran Medaglia d'Oro in Vinitaly (1999).
Its Cabernet Sauvignon has obtained international recognition and
its Chardonnay (1999) is considered by experts as one of the best
of that variety in Spain.
Joseph
Phelps Vineyards are located in Spring Valley near St. Helena. It
proudly features Insignia, an artful blend of the high quality Cabernet
Sauvignon and other Bordeaux grape varieties from different complimentary
vineyard locations. Phelps’ collection of wines also includes
an innovative line of Rhone-style wines, as well as, a dessert wine
made from Johannesburg Riesling (produced only during certain years).
