The World Gourmet Summit (WGS) will be the finale and highlight of the Singapore Food Festival, bringing in the top chefs from five continents to Singapore. Key activities of the WGS include masterchefs gourmet safaris, a gala dinner, food promotions, wine appreciation sessions and culinary demonstrations.

A special masterclass for all lovers of foie gras. Michael Ginor, co-founder and owner/President of Hudson Valley Foie Gras and New York State Foie Gras, the largest and most comprehensive foie gras producer in the world will be here to share three of his signature recipes: Torchon of Port Wine Poached Foie Gras with Pear Shallot Jam; Pot-au-feu Royale; and Hatikva Charcoal Grilled Foie Gras with Fig, Duck Prosciutto, Cardamon Jam, Pomegranate Glaze, and Grilled Pita.
 
In addition, you can choose to savour the above recipes at a four-course luncheon prepared by Michael Ginor at Maxim's de Paris of The Regent Singapore after his demonstration.

Embark on gastronomic adventures with four masterchefs over the course of one night. You will be ferried to four different establishments, with each masterchef offering his/her signature dishes at each stop, accompanied by selected wine. Quite unlike the Gourmet Safari, which are themed explorations of different cuisines, Masterchef Safaris offer you the best of the world's chefs in one gloriously entertaining evening.
